BEACONFRIDAY LETTERS · NO. 01

October 30, 2026 · First issue preview

A place
to belong.

A little hope. Something useful.
One way forward, together.

Beacon’s lighthouse surrounded by its eight connected brands

A note from Christa

You can begin right here.

Welcome to our first Beacon Friday Letter. I’m Christa, and I’m glad you’re here.

Beacon brings together parts of life that matter deeply to me: faith, stories, health, learning, travel, architecture, kindness, and the hope of places where we can rest and reconnect. Each has its own direction. Together, they point toward the same purpose: helping someone find a way forward.

My hope for these letters is simple: a brief update, something useful to take into your week, and a reminder that you have company. Some Fridays we’ll explore an idea. Other weeks, we’ll share a discovery, a question, or a small beginning.

You don’t need to have everything figured out to belong here.

This week’s light · Forward Health

Being heard is a beginning.

Living with endometriosis has taught me how much can be happening beneath the surface of an ordinary day. A smile doesn’t tell the whole story. Neither does a photograph, a diagnosis, or a few minutes in an appointment.

Forward Health is growing into a place for awareness, practical preparation, and connection. You can read my story, explore appointment questions, or use a personal check-in that stays on your own device.

We’re also working toward conversations between meetings: somewhere to share an experience, ask a question, or simply say, “Today is hard.” Listening is participation, too.

Take this into your week

The one-small-step card

Choose one part of your life that needs a little attention. Give yourself two quiet minutes to finish these three sentences. A few words are enough.

For your own reflection. These answers are not saved or submitted; they disappear when you reload or leave. Print a copy if you want to keep them.

Your step might be asking someone to listen, writing down a question, or giving yourself permission to pause. Let it be small enough for the day you’re actually having.

Around the lighthouse

Eight ideas. One shared purpose.

This first letter is a little introduction. In future issues, we’ll spend more time with one offering and share something you can use.

An anchor for the week

“He restoreth my soul.”

Psalm 23:3 · King James Version

Restoration can be a quiet word to carry into a busy week. Consider where you could make a little room for rest, prayer, or the company of someone who cares.

Come as you are.

If Beacon speaks to something you’re carrying—or something you’re curious about—there’s room to begin. Explore one path. Share this letter with someone who might appreciate it. Tell us what would make a future letter useful to you.

Tell Christa what you’d like to see
